Getting back into the work force can be intimidating, with ReHire CO, we can help with that transition.

In September of 2020, my Veterans Employment Specialist Anthony Mason sent a referral to the ReHire program. I had been out of the workforce for a year getting several spinal injections for a service-connected disability. I was very intimidated entering back into the

work force because I had actively searched for full time employment with no success. The year felt hopeless until I met Pam and Evie. Pam and Evie gave me the support I needed to feel confident and utilize my skill set in a professional environment at Catholic Charities. I thrived in the position because the staff members were great mentors and provided me with the materials and training to succeed.

"The ReHire program has provided me with opportunity to prove myself, my work ethic, and skill set."

In November of 2020, Catholic Charities had a full time Office Manager position vacant. I applied for the Office Manager position and was successful! I am now employed full time very proud to be working with such an amazing organization. The ReHire program has provided me with opportunity to prove myself, my work ethic, and skill set. I am able to provide my family with stable financial support and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the ReHire program.

Really inspiring story it’s great to see programs like ReHire helping veterans rebuild confidence and find supportive workplaces again. On a lighter note, when I need a little break after reading serious topics, I’ve been playing Speed Stars lately since it’s simple, fun, and surprisingly relaxing.
