ReHire Colorado is a transitional jobs program through Catholic Charities Diocese of Pueblo that helps stabilize individuals and families with earned income.
Much like all non-profit organizations, Habitat for Humanity of Fremont County ReStore operates on a break-even budget. The organization’s primary goal is to serve those in need, making the paid staff small and the need for volunteers big.
ReHire Colorado helped with that need.
“Catholic Charities ReHire Colorado program has been such a huge blessing to us,” the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Fremont County ReStore, Colleen Kozacek, said.
“Since the time we began partnering with ReHire, we’ve been able to accomplish more than we ordinarily might have.”
“The ReHire Colorado Program has made it possible to continue helping those in need in our community,”
This past year has been difficult for many non-profit organizations as they work to help the under-resourced in the community. With a large amount of people needing resources more than ever, several organizations needed more help to provide for those needs.
“Without the assistance of ReHire Colorado, we would not have been able to maintain the level of service our customers are accustomed to, and likely would have had to decrease the availability of our programs to the community.” Kozacek said.
“The ReHire Colorado Program has made it possible to continue helping those in need in our community,” Kozacek said. “We truly could not do it without them!”
