ReHire

Provides opportunities for individuals to re-enter the workforce through subsidized employment. Participants work with an employment specialist to build their resume, prepare got interviews, job search and receive coaching. The programs include:

  • ReHire Program

  • Colorado Works Subsidized Training and Employment Program (CW STEP)

  • Charities Works

  • Employment First

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, be lawfully present, and be unemployed or underemployed (20 hours or less per week.​

Catholic Charities provides:​

​

  • Job coaching and career support, including goal setting, career assessments, résumé support, interview preparation, job search assistance, and referrals to local employers or partner agencies.

​

  • Funding for certifications and licenses that may help participants qualify for employment or advance toward stable work.

​

  • Transitional paid employment at minimum wage for up to 3 months, giving participants recent work experience while they build job skills and prepare for permanent employment.

​

  • A pathway to permanent employment through coaching, work experience, employer connections, and continued support from an employment specialist.

​

  • Supportive services to help remove barriers to work, which may include transportation assistance such as bus passes, help with work clothing or tools, past-due utility assistance, and other employment-related needs based on eligibility and available funding.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Lawfully present and eligible to work in the United States

  • Colorado residents

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Not incarcerated or otherwise incapacitated for work

  • Family income below 150% of the federal poverty level

  • Unemployed or employed for no more than 20 hours per week, for at least four consecutive weeks

  • Demonstration of active job search through the public workforce system

Documents Required:

  1. driver's License or I.D

  2. Social Security Card

  3. Resume

  4. Work History (last 3 jobs)
