Charities Works provides structured service opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, low income, or barriers to employment. Through meaningful community projects, participants build confidence, workplace skills, routine, and connections while helping improve neighborhoods throughout Pueblo.
Who We Serve
Charities Works supports adults in Pueblo who are experiencing homelessness, housing instability, low income, or barriers to employment and may benefit from structured service opportunities and additional support.
What We Provide
Structured Service Opportunities
Participants take part in organized cleanup and community improvement projects throughout Pueblo.
Workplace Readiness
Projects help participants develop routine, responsibility, teamwork, reliability, and other skills that support future employment.
Participant Incentives
Participants may receive gift cards or other incentives in recognition of their time, effort, and service.
Personal Growth
The program helps participants build confidence, establish goals, and take meaningful steps toward greater stability.
Community Connection
Participants contribute directly to Pueblo neighborhoods while connecting with local organizations, resources, and supportive relationships.
Employment Pathways
Participants gain practical experience and strengthen skills that may support future employment, training, and greater financial stability.
More Than Community Cleanup
Charities Works does more than remove trash from public spaces. The program creates opportunities for participants to reconnect with their community, recognize the value of their contributions, and develop skills that can support future employment.

Crews may clean alleys, bridges, illegal dumping sites, public spaces, neighborhood problem areas, and locations affected by unauthorized camps.

Community Partnerships
