Family Development Services
At Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado, the Family Development program strengthens families by promoting stability, safety, and long-term well-being. Through supportive services, crisis response, and resource navigation, we help families build resilience and connect with the resources they need to thrive.

Our Family Development services include:

· Kinship Navigation
Family Resource Center Program
The Family Resource Center Program supports families by promoting resiliency, stability, and long-term success. Through goal setting and connection to community resources, we empower caregivers and their loved ones while helping families grow stronger together.
Services include:
· Strength-based, high-quality family development services
· Building social connections and strengthening parenting knowledge
· Support systems that enhance children’s social-emotional competence
· Assessing family strengths and setting collaborative goals
· Connecting families with community resources and economic support
· Promoting resiliency to help stabilize families and support long-term well-being

*Participation in this program typically occurs through referrals from partner agencies and community systems
Kinship Navigation
Kinship Navigation supports grandparents, relatives, and non-biological caregivers who are caring for and raising children when parents are unable to do so. The program helps caregivers connect with resources, build stability, and access support for the entire family.

Kinship Navigation provides:
· Information and referrals to community resources
· Assistance accessing housing, food security, and financial supports
· Advocacy and guidance navigating available services
· Problem-solving support for caregivers and families
· Trainings and special events
