Our roots are deep because of the people who came before us, and the people standing beside us now. We all operate from this rootedness. Whether it’s helping a father find stability, providing legal help to a new immigrant, guiding a family through parenting challenges, or feeding someone experiencing homelessness, the foundation is always the same: compassion-driven service.​

Growing in Hope​

The second half of the theme emphasizes movement, expansion, and the promise of renewal. It is aspirational—about what lies ahead, both for the agency and for the people we serve. Hope is more than an idea—it’s something we see come alive every day in our work. But just as importantly, hope grows in us, too.

 

For our staff, “growing in hope” means:

 

• Seeing our impact take root and flourish over time.

• Trusting that every effort—every form filled out, every client listened to, every referral made—matters deeply.

• Knowing that we’re not stuck; we’re evolving. The agency is growing, and so are we—professionally, spiritually, and personally.

 

 

Hope is a form of resilience. And after the challenges of recent years—pandemic disruptions, funding shifts, burnout—this theme offers us all a chance to breathe, look up, and believe again.

 

The word “hope” here is not vague—it’s the tangible hope seen in a child’s first day at school, a father’s first paycheck, a newly housed client holding their keys, a mother reuniting with her children, or an immigrant stepping into a safe space for the first time.

“Rooted in Service, Growing in Hope” is more than a slogan for a T-shirt. It’s a mirror of our culture, a reminder of our purpose, and an invitation to keep growing—together.

 

This theme affirms:

• We believe in the future—not just for our clients, but for ourselves.
